diawa jerkbait rod

anybody use a diawa whisker jerkbait rod? looking for a rod but on a budget, was wondering if anybody on here has used one? thanks, ash

thanks thorny, will consider getting one myself. how stiff is it? some jerkbait rods are to soft to work lures properly

Its pretty stiff mate you can work your lures nicely with it..I like it as its a tad longer than my other jerk rod ..

There was a powermesh 6' 6" for sale at the Broadlands conferance on the 2nd hand stall. Was the lighter one.... upto 3oz tho i chuck a lot heavier than that on mine. Was brand new...... nearly had it myself but have 2 already... £50! Didnt sell....... Might be worth contacting Martin Ward as he was running the stall. BARGAIN!

i brought a whisker jerkbait for 50. casts up to 6oz so should handle all the lures i'm likely to use.
