Pressing ctrl and F5 together clears out the cache (browser saves pages for faster loading)

As for updating it will be up the top on the browsers menus somewhere. I dont know what browser yer on so cant really say more than that.

For login issues give this a try, no idea if it will work. This has got me stumped big time since its all working fine for a lot of people.

Go here : ucp.php?i=ucp_profile&mode=autologin_keys

Scroll to the very bottom. Click "mark all" and click "delete marked"

Tom. i made those topics global so nobody would miss any important info during this update. Ill remove them once things settle down.

Mercman. Thats interesting and glad its sorted your issues. Would be good to hear from others if this has solved their login issues.

I can seemingly access it ok but the keyboard is almost unresponsive when typing posts on the Forum.

It wasn't like this before.

That's a big ditto here, waiting for a long interval after typing for the text to appear!!!

No issues at all with any other site. Taken a good five minutes to type these two lines.

Desktop PC running Win10 here. Working in full reply box, not tried quick reply yet.

Deleted browsing history/cookies, cleaned and optimised C' drive, refreshed cache a few times, logged off/on etc.

No issues with mouse use, trying to add to any thread etc is a significant issue.

Does not occur on any other site. Did not occur before the board updates here, very odd.

Could it perhaps be that you have a spell checker enabled in the browser ?

The issue with the ridiculous lag (with me) is in the use of the boards full editor and preview. "Unresponsive" don't get near it!

The quick reply behaves normally as before.

Had zero problems (with anything) until someone decided to change things in the last week or so  Now I have to create a new password every time I come to the forum. It doesn't remember me, even though I check the boxes

On the proper reply now - with lag issues.

I wondered if it could be caused by the page loading (stacks of emoji's etc) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

At the moment, my typing is about 5 words ahead of what is being displayed - a chisel and a slate would be less annoying. :laughs:

It's this board and this board only (no other site) and here it's only when using the "full editor and preview"........................"ridiculous lag"
