Welcome back everybody
Our appologies for the delay in getting us back online. we have made the move to our new and improved hardware on the new server (godaddy, go****yaself)
I dont like to count my chickens just yet. As the doors open again on the pit the server WILL experience high load. its at this time we will really see how well our new server performs. so bear with us again as I may still need to do some tweaking to the server to get it spot on for us.
one thing that has changed for the moment is attachments. I have had to disable the feature while I get back our old attachments, all 10GB of it!!!
and ofcourse I fully expect a few issues as you will be required to login again (maybe, oh no!)
if for any reason your seeing any unsual behaviour just assume the usual position and hit CTRL+F5 first of all. then clear cookies, then get in touch via facebook .
And as always, if you see a problem let me know asap.
a quick explanation of what happened, godaddy is s**t, their support is s**t and their servers are s**t. I was running optimization on the database as you normally would, godaddy servers freaked out and stalled, it corrupted the database and we lost about a days worth of posts. we bought an expensive fancy UK server and I restored a backup from 07/11/2018
Regards,
Andy

It's ruined my sex life.
I could click on a topic, run upstairs, bang one into our lass, run back down just in time for the page to load.

Seriously, lightning at my end
Well done again Ben and Andy and anyone else concerned.
I do hope it was my "Ages" thread that started it, I'll feel a lot less insignificant if so

Surprised you were on godaddy to start with.
At least I had a life for a couple of days. Back to wasting it on here again now.
