Drennan 20g controllers

Post by Mark Phillips »

Bought a couple this weekend as I needed something to get out a bit further, so went out yesterday PM and... they sink! Good that ... glad I kept the packaging as they're going back to the shop! Utter crap. Don't know why I bought them in the first place really as the sight tip is stupidly small and yellow painted - not black or red, which would make more sense.

One of my favourite controllers, never had an issue...although all mine are very old now.

Must be a dodgy batch. I've got a newish one too and it just breaks the surface with the tip of the swivel.

I think I might have preferred it to sink - it would have made a great slow-sink ledger weight for fishing weedy lake beds!
