Jet Boil - Minimo

So I got bought a Jet Boil flash for Xmas, but the one sold was a demo and hence didn't work. :roll:

The flash has been discontinued and they had no more in stock.....so I was given the new Minimo as a replacement......first time out the plastic, yes plastic surround that holds the burner melted due to a leaky valve.

Fortunately it is a known fault by Jet Boil who sell a titanium replacement. So I've no got a replacement Minimo, but I've not test the new one yet..... :neutral:

They sell a replacement rather than replace FOC ? Why not a full product recall???

Who know! :laughs: Its a US firm, so they probably don't think its warranted to recall the them.

The new one seems ok after trying this week and I note that they sell a pan adapter too :roll:
