Fosters of Birmingham

Post by Mattjb »

Ordered some braid on 19th Jan, they phone next day to say out of stock but will have it next week - fair enough.
Then no contact for week and a half
I send email but no reply.
Phone up and get fobbed off with someone else is dealing with it will phone you back.no phone call back.
Phone next day, braid is hopefully coming in tomorrow. Ok I say phone me and let me know, if it doesn't come in I want refund .
No phone call.
Couple of days later I phone again by now getting p****d off and I'm a patient man! Braid not coming in , don't know who told you it would be in we are having trouble getting it.
Got refund same day (12th feb)
Absolute bunch of clowns and s***e customer service. Why a large company like them can't show stock levels on their website I don't know. Be warned if you are thinking of ordering from them!

I've ordered from them on a few occasions and never had a bad experience, always fantastic service. Mind you that was before they were bought out.

Always had good experiences with Fosters but alas I think after the buy out from Angling Direct we will see a dramatic change.

Just up the road from me best shop around here when Fosters , huge unit loads of gear and staff for different sections .
Not been in recently now Angling Direct .
Seems that braid is quite scarce at the minute ?
