Recently read this after purchasing a new copy at a bargain price form Cochy Bonndu books and thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the best pike books in my opinion.

Yes great book and lovely fellow is Bill, now retired and living in Norfolk.

Lots of fishing in the book is local to me and I think that really helps when you know the venues that are mentioned in any book.

My three favourites are Ultimate Pike, Dimples to Wrinkles and Mega Pike.

(Mick Cutler's new book Esox Lucius is creeping up there now though face)

I think I’d go pikers progress, Broadland pike and professional piker as my top three👍
I’m quite surprised I’ve never come across Bill when I’m out met several “ known” pikers. Would love a yarn with him.

My own personal favourite is Fenland Pike but love Bill's book Dimples, I've been lucky to meet him once or twice and what a gentleman, a great bloke!

I've just ordered Mick Cutler's book based on this threads comments.
