I always remember these rods back when I was a boy in my local tackle shop, Anglers World in Corby, always dreamed of owning a pair, never could of afforded them, paper round payed crap money, they fell off my radar back then when I started work, buying North Western PK3,s and Sportex rods,what sort of price would they be going for today wondering if anyone new anybody who had a pair that might want to part with them, probably never use them, just for nostalgia. I bought a pair of Bob Church 11' Carp Special S.U. that were built on the same fast taper Sportex blanks as his Pike Specials with a 2.5lb tc, still got them somewhere, made excellent pike rods for ranges up to around 50yds with a legered half mackeral or herring.
