Big Water Pike Fishing

Post by Vermillion » Tue Jan 30 2018 16:47

Making some room in my garage roof space for a new Kayak, came across a box of old stuff, in it this book.

Spent a lot of time looking through this book when I was young and copying some of the methods in it, never with much success.

On page 72, one of the two lads I went on my first ever Piking trip with nearly thirty years ago.
I only met him once, not 100% sure but I think he was called Dave Brier

Maybe, can't tell from the pic, are you in the book somewhere?

I've had a look through my copy and I'm not in that book. The pics brought back some memories of good times though.

Great book full of useful information despite the missing pics and some text. Volume two boat fishing is also a good read some really useful information which is still relevant today.
