I no longer have a 'birding' lens so this is a big crop. Quite confiding little birds, a bit like robins in looks and behaviour. I once had one come and spend some time perching near me when piking.
This is the female of a pair which hang around a horse field, using the fence post as lookouts to hunt from.

Nice little bird.
There are some that live on a bit of marsh where I live.
I have never seen one before ,but one actually came to my feeders this winter.
I only saw it twice feeding among the blue t*t's.
