Summer evening

I could see the smoke of the Winter Hill fire from my back window so I went for a look. Not as big a blaze as the Saddleworth one, but I wouldn't like to have to fight it. The smoke is hanging low and extends right across the horizon.

There was also a fire on a wooded area of Healy Nab, which isn't far away but isn't connected. I'd not be surprised if that wasn't started deliberately.
