Tawny Owl

I have had trap camera on this table for about a week now hoping to bring the Buzzards down.
No Buzzard as yet but this lovely Tawny is visiting every night :thumbs:

What bird is he eating ? Tawny catch large birds at night ?

Or did you bait the camera?

Its eating Pheasant and day old chicks put out for the Buzzards.

Ahh , I thought he had taken a larger bird , on autumn watch I saw the barn owl take starlings from the roost in dense reeds , great video freaks

Typical owl behaviour, swallow it whole and choke on it :laughs:

Great footage of our only true nocturnal owl :thumbs:
