Almost 5000 sheep at the auction today. Described as 'organised chaos' by one of the yard staff. It didn't look organised to me!

A gimmer is a female lamb that is being kept for breeding, rather than going to slaughter, a gimmer typically gets called a ewe after its first shearing.

Those sheep were behaving as sheep do. They couldn't see anywhere to go before they got to the spot where they left the track. And they never run when they can walk!

They do have a habit of getting their heads stuck in buckets though...
