Baby spiders

Post by Mattjb »

Saw two clusters of baby spiders on the inside of a bucket in the garden today.Looked them up and they are the hatchlings of the common garden spider apparently. Pic taken with mobile so not the best but you get the idea!

I remember at work seeing a weird looking spider. Like it had a furry back so I stood on it and a bazillion baby spiders made a mad dash from under my foot. Gave me the fear

Cool, they'd better watch out for the morning frosts.

I don't get some folks Paranoia about our own Spiders, (some few folks can go "Ape" when they spot one), blokes included.

Try the real stuff, like the ol' Camel Spider. (Aka Sand Scorpion.) They can attack you if you corner one of those buggers! 6" in size with nasty bite and attitude.

When your dossing on the Jebel' overnight, you don't want one for a partner.

Now I wouldn't want to find a nest of those in my back garden that's for sure!

One of my workmates is s**t scared of spiders.I was hanging doors on a site and spotted one of those big hairy house spiders and thought it would be a shame not to put it to good use.I put it inside one of the small boxes that the hinges come in and a piece of masking tape with my mate's name on the outside and left it on his chop saw.I've never heard a grown man scream like that before!
