Been busy
Not took any photos for a while as I have been changing everything around at the hide all week. I have had to revamp the lot as I have a visitor coming next Friday who is making a Sparrowhawk film with no captive birds. With my hide being set up for photography wasnt any good as it wasnt natural looking with nice perches attatched to metal poles for example. His name is Dave Culley, you might remember him from Sparrowhawk Island that featured on Springwatch? http://www.sparrowhawk-island.co.uk/ It is being narrated by Chris Packham and it should end up on a BBC channel so Im pretty excited and hope the birds play ball over the 3 days. He is also good friends with Chris Packham and Johnny Kingdom and he thinks there is a good possibility that Packham would come up to photograph the Hawks, chance mad Johnny will come too. Fingers crossed

Bloody brilliant Al!
Johnny K's program was superb. My favourite bit is where Norbert pokes the wasps nest. Still has me in stitches thinking about it now.

Keep us posted Al.
Great Grey Shrike kicking about locally at the moment. I saw it with Dupont last year albeit it from a distance. I wouldn't mind betting it will be in the same area again. I might try and nip over there sometime this week for a look.
