Jackdaw and now Puffin - Dark processing

I would welcome comments on the style of this.... it's a departure from my normal processing and I assume it's not to everyone's taste!

To be hyper picky... It could do with a little more definition on the beak to show the tip. Then it would be as near perfect as possible IMO.

Had another go at this, this time with a puffin, it's much more difficult with a subject that thas white extremities.

Both really good Chris, well I like them anyway.
The puffin looks melancholy and deep in thought.
