Bert & Ernie
I got these two little rascals in August last year, best thing I've ever done, brilliant dogs and great company, I'm even losing my beer gut due to all the walking!
They're Bedlington Terrier crossed with a Whippet, my Mum and Dad have an 8yr old the same type, they make a lovely cross breed and I highly recommend them. They will grow to about 12-15kg and will be rabbit chasers, they're already rapid now at 7 months old and 8kg. Great with kids and other dogs, don't molt and people are not allergic to them
Some people call them a Mini Lurcher, a Whiplington, a Bedlington Whippet or my fav - a Bippet
When I have been out walking them at least three people have stopped their car to ask what breed they are, I am very proud of my boys

My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.

Re: Bert & Ernie
I agree Linus, I don't call them that when people ask, far too many silly names for cross breeds, my friends 9yr old daughter came up with Bippet and it made me laugh

To that one soul reading this
I know your tired fed up and close to braking
But theres strength within you even when you feel week
You've come too far to give up now
Stay strong and keep fighting

There are plenty of Bedlington Whippets around just make sure you get a first cross otherwise they lose the Bedlington quite a bit. First cross means both parents are pure breeds and I believe it’s best for the Dad to be a Bedlington and the Mum a Whippet.
Brilliant dogs in every way
