I hope you mean per month. I know the cost jumps massively when a dog gets 7-8 years old but 33 quid a week would be ridiculous.
You'd better off putting 25 quid a week into a savings account to help cover vet bills.

We have insured our two Doberman pups with Tesco as they give higher cover £10000 per condition per year which resets on renewal.

We are paying in all about £400 a month for 4 Dobermans and 2 Siamese, and have claimed about £7000 this year after several trips to the Supervet.
