To soft me!!

Post by MarkBerrisford »

Looks like fate has lent a hand with my daughters boyfriends dog having pups, so in a few weeks we'll have our first family dog! A patterdale terrier.

If you've ever seen a terrier thats been up against an Otter you wouldn't wish it on any dog.

Last one I saw retired the dog, and at just 5years old and a 'worker'.

Lovely pup btw

Cracking little dogs Patterdales are but very headstrong when they go into hunting mode, selective hearing is a natural occurrence with them. Even the most pampered family pooch can turn into the terminator with one sniff of anything small and furry

I dont like most small dogs and most terriers, patterdales are an exception and make great pets!
Enjoy!

He is a cracking little pup Mark, wait till you take him fishing , they make great little fishing companions but be warned at least half of your grub is his including your deadbaits and livebaits ( if my patterdale is anything to go by ) and when they have eaten everything and get bored they will be off hunting. On the plus side you will never have anymore problems with Rats

Cheers Mick, had him out this morning trying for a few rats, smoked a few out but didn't get any having said that he was more interesting in trying to dig them out himself!
