Re: Random dog pics ( cus we can )
Small greyhound kennel not far from me. I did some work on the house years ago. Kennel lad shown me round the kennels. Nice big kennels. Fresh clean bedding every day. The food they got was brilliant....chicken stew and a specially baked bread from local bakery every day. Bit of horse meat now and then. Very well looked after. A lot of their dogs went to local homes after retiring.
Made a few Bob on one they were racing.
Had a couple of rescue ones myself...lovely dogs. Ours were real settee hogs. Yes they do love to race. We used to get a few dogs lined up on the farm ready for a 'race' and they would get real excited. They beat the neos every time, so did the wolf hybrid but not by much

On a more sombre note
Our previous dog Harry passed away weeks before we moved aged 16 1/2, we had him cremated and it’s taken 2 years for us to feel like we could part with him and lay him to rest which we did the other day
Time moves on but the memories still remain
Big soft pike anglers that we are
R.I.P ‘arry mate
