My wife won't get another dog because it broke her heart when we had ours put down.
She says she won't put herself through that again.
My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.

The only thing I'd say is get a rescue rather than line a breeders pocket.
Countless numbers of healthy dogs are put to sleep every week just to make room for the latest dogs to come into rescue.

Bensons Growing fast. At 8 Weeks he was the size of the grate now at 18 weeks and 26 kg his almost as wide as the fire place.
His last milk teeth have gone and the new are pushing through. Oh joy
Handsome chap who loves people and other dogs. His been worth the time
And lack of fishing this winter.

Amazing how quickly they grow, almost which bit is going to grow today you might need a bigger boat for next winter.

Re: Random dog pics ( cus we can )
Bensons our third from the same breaders. Max and Ellie were great looking dogs and temprement.
We moved from Liz Dunhill's (fantazia) as she started to make very lean Rottie's.
Another bonus with this breeder is their under ten miles from us.
Good news Duncan this was the mothers first litter, her gene pool is very strong, his taking after her in looks and
Manners.
He was from a litter of six dogs and one bitch. They all had exactly the same markings in colour and placement. His turning out to be a real gem.
We took him to Mersea Island today (cheers Mercman the oyster bar was amazing) he had his
First taste of sand & seaweed
He loves meeting people and from the start works out how to greet dogs if their timid he will lay down and
Crawl to them on their level rather than tower above them & and if their up for a play he gets stuck in.
Ps We may now have our go anywhere rottie BUT to go on the boat whilst I'm fishing NO WAY

Meet Winnie the newest addition to the Ming household..
We could never replace Ruby, but this little bundle of energy has already melted our hearts.
She's a working cocker from working stock....as the keeper we got her from said, she'll be a pocket rocket !!
Mabel isn't quite sure of her yet. But Im sure she'll come round soon enough....2 spaniels going loopy round the house ooooh the joys
