My fishing mate had one of the first issue, it took a cane knife off a WI guy who had barricaded himself in after he cut two officers, his collegues used to joke they didnt know who was incharge of who.

Met two some decades ago. One in Belgium one in Germany. Impressive Hounds.

One of the breed was on the ground and "well involved" when the SEALS raided Bin Laden's place.

apparently they are good pets---bit hyper if they don't get lots of exercise (like collies/springers do)

They are not good pets for your average family.

My mate has three, they make brilliant pets IF you can give them plenty of exercise, training and keep them mentally stimulated.
They are easily bored and when bored become destructive and unruly and as you see in the video, they are awesome escape artists.

They are fantastically smart, very energetic, they love to work, they have a very high prey drive and they love to bite, seriously, they bite for fun and they bite hard!

Bit lighter than the GSD so easier for a soldier to carry and parachute with. Very protective and intelligent.
