Dog dna

Post by zodiac »

Has anyone used these kits for testing a dogs lineage?
We've had a wee rescue dog a few months and we'd like to know her breeding, not for any particular reason other than out of interest, as I'm sure she has a little bit of everything in her! Although I've read it can be helpful if she falls ill too.
Are they accurate/ reliable? Any brands to avoid? I'm not even sure how it works to be honest, I'm guessing you just take a swab and send it away.
