Tried to log on yesterday afternoon,got a message that said the maximum numbers of users (30) had been exceeded :scratch:

Funnily enough
I had the same message yesterday too

wasnt 30 seperate bots. it was 30 seperate bots from a single search engine. ahrefsbot was one of them :afraid:

absolute pests. we're just getting busy a lot lately. change in the weather.

Andrew, could you do another Bot Killing session please.

The Pit (only The Pit) has the longest mind numbing lag' of all sites I visit.

Its not bots this time. Forums become quite busy and struggling to cope. Always working on optimization.

Jus' saying like........

Two attempts at posting earlier.........true slug/static speed waiting to see "will it-won't it" be going up.

Both times 57 seconds from clicking "submit" to fading to "SQL Error" screen.........switch-sites-come back......the post has gone up.

The innards need a good oiling methinks........Keep trying Andrew. :thumbs:

Im going to plan some downtime tonight to run some optimization on the database. Probably after 11 when its quiet.
