There isn’t 100% mark up on small tackle from the vast majority of tackle companies

20% discount ?? you might as well give it away..

Sponsors are free to do as they want but what you also have to keep in mind as most are small businesses and the way things are at the moment with the cost of everything is probably a bit unfair to ask to be honest.

Some sponsors have given discount codes over the years and when Christmas comes around they are more than generous. It took a while but we found a formula that works.

River close season March 15th to June 15th to give the fish a bit of peace.
Perhaps a ban coinciding with those dates could give all of us a bit of peace too.

He talks a load of s***e at times but it would be a quiet forum if people got kicked off for that.
If he's genuinely interested in these topics he starts then he has a much right to ask the questions as we have to ignore them!

Because he talks utter b******s a lot of the time, and is so arrogant that he is right that he doesn’t actually debate, it’s his way or no way and the stuff he asks is nonsensical questions more often than not.

Yeah it gets others talking, but honestly, it’s nearly always ridiculous. This thread is a prime example of that. I like a good question on here, there’s some good people and even better anglers on here so there’s always something to learn, but the number of stupid threads he posts detracts from that.

I’ll admit my post was probably extreme and over the top, but the sentiment remains.

Could I make a suggestion of a tackle discount for pit members from Forum sponsors of 20 % .
Maybe a discount code ??

Nev could start the ball rolling .

Angling Direct think giving you the earth with a stingy 10 % once in a blue moon. :dizzy:

Not lot really when Mark up on small end tackle terminal bits is 100 % Profit .
Here's a suggestion why don't you spend 20% less time posting on the forum.
Or a 100%. The guys up there with the biggest bellends this forum has seen
that's actually really unfair and totally uncalled for.. he asks a lot of questions sure but what is wrong with that ? he is causing nobody any harm and people genuinely interact with that in a positive way.
He's causing a lot of mental distress! :dizzy: :laughs:

Thats twice in a week someone has mentioned you and 'discount ' in the same post.
We will understand if you feel you need to take a break from the forum.
It's OK, I'm planning a sale.
But the meaning of sale Dave is to make it cheaper than the start price

You can’t have buy 2 rods and pay for 3 that’s not how it works

Don’t worry the fever 🤒 will pass
I am the real Lee white last time I looked
