On a few non fishing forums I frequent, The owners have set up a paypal account for donations to help the running costs. It only takes a quid or so each & the forum stays prosperous. In return the donators get "Forum Sponsor" added to their profile.
Just another idea.

There is a donation feature available on the forum, I didn't turn it on because I didn't want to come across in the wrong way

Re: Forum Sponsors
I'm not sure its classed as Bandwidth, I think they count the number of threads and posts.
Without checking I'm not 100% sure but I recall that when I joined there was some information about it and I think the numbers were into Millions.

I'm doing my best to look into t-shirts.
Had a busy week at work (7-6) so not been online much.
