Well spotted Phil.
However, the screed had dried already and it was only wetted down after dry to help it harden better, so I could walk on i. :thumbs:
It's now had PVA painted over it to keep the dust down.

Looks great. A quick tip I'd give to anyone trying this is to put coving around the floor/wall join too - it makes cleaning/washing the floor down after drying your kit/clothes a doddle - nowhere for the water or dirt to get trapped. :thumbs:

Yep. Plastic coving is readily available (it's used in food factories). Simple to apply and clean and avoids pooling water. :thumbs:

Bit o good lateral thinking boys. Might do the skirting in quarry tiles...the floor was always gonna be lino

Any decent lino company will know how to do the wet area finish where they don't have corners. In fill corners and lino up to meet the wall four inches up.
