jb weld is amazing stuff. about 10+ yrs ago a draper bench morticer handle thread was knurled after a couple of months general use. so jb weld was used to quick fix it!. its still working its magic now. (the stuff we had was american made in tubes like araldite) recommended.

Ive been using it for around 15 years on everything from marine stainless to alluminium.
Brilliant and does exactly what it says and much more.
I cant remember exactly, around £15 a box but could be wrong.
Its a two part epoxy, heat resistant and tough as old boots.
What do you want it for?
History; It was originally designed to fill the VC bullet holes in the US Marine's Heuys because they didnt want the folks back home to think their boys were in danger.
The last one I bought was Wilko rapid epoxy ,resin and hardener............................................Aradite as far as I am concerned
some are better than others
I have some that was --er--- acquired from the aero industry---fantastic stuff, down to my last box of it
Dave---have you tried the stuff that comes in tubs from guides and blanks? pretty good stuff and has about 10-15mins life---far cheaper than buying those poxy little tubes of araldite

I think I have tried that stuff but it didn't suit me for what I was using it for. I mostly use Araldite for glueing tip rings so a pack lasts me yonks. I use other glues for jobs that need more glue. I buy them in big bottles which work out cost effective.

Glues are made from like horses for courses,
Sometimes the cheapest crap is the best for what you need, sometimes you need to spend a few quid.
