DIY Bobbins
Easter's the time to stock up on eggy things for making bobbins. I spotted ( ) these today in my local Spar.

If you stamp on an empty (plastic) 'Roll on' deodorant bottle - these fly out at about 200 mph. (Worth doing for that fact alone! ).

Have a box full of the somewhere, when I used to breed pheasants I would put black dots on them with a marker pen and put them in with the chicks, they would peck away at them all day and chase them around their enclosure thinking they were flies, good exercise for them apparently.
