Ginger - anyone grow it successfully?

Post by Mike J »

Hi,
I have heard it is possible to grow Ginger in the UK.

Does anyone on here grow it or know someone who does?

Thanks Brian, I will seek it out

Once upon a time I used to grow my own Corriander, now its price has risen so much Im going to try again this year.
My three chillie plants have flowers and one has a 3incher ripening nicely but the garlic is still below ground.
Turmeric I dont know, I can get the fresh roots from a local shop owned by a Thai lady so will ask now ot converts k to powder or how its used fresh.

I cooked Amereto Chicken last night, a dish to die for if youve never tried it!
