Just tried beer can chicken for the first time.
Rubbed with pit happens, half full can of lager shoved up the cavity to help it stand up.
Smoker sitting at 160°c cooked for 2 hours.
Moist beyond belief and tasteir than Tesco's rotisserie offerings.

It's on my to-do list in the wood-fired oven, but I'll have to put it in the cast iron pot to cook it evenly I think.
