Hobgoblin IPA
Spotted this yesterday and grabbed 4 bottles of it. Wow, it is absolutely fantastic!
Much lighter than other variations of Hobbers, crisp and more than a little Zesty, I'll be going to get some more real soon!

I like that one too, plus their Hobgoblin Gold ... which is only around £1.25 at Lidl.
Having said that, I've been teetotal for 55 days now. I made a vow not to drink until the pubs reopened & try lose some weight. 11lbs so far & I feel better for it.

I agree, it's lovely, but only one place within half an hour's drive sells it, a big 'home bargains ' store, of all places.

I'm not a big fan of IPAs, but Hobgoblin Gold is very palatable.
Too many IPAs are ridiculously over-hopped these days - especially that dreadful Punk IPA, which is the devil's work. Nasty, trendy, pish in my opinion.
Jaipur and Proper Job are probably my favourite two.

Hobgoblin Gold has become my beer of choice for drinking at home, really enjoying it.

Proper Job is nice, the Green Gecko IPA out of Lidl is also nice without being too hoppy.

Just popped the lid off a bottle of Harpers Ruby Red.
A really nice dark ale.
I bought five random bottles earlier, doombar was pleasant but not exceptional.

Re: Hobgoblin IPA
I'll have to get over to Sainsbury's this lunchtime and bag a few more bottles.
