Cant drink instant, can't even stand the smell of it....
Ive got a little double expresso stove top pot, and a large stainless steel French press on the boat. Gotta have a real, fresh pot of coffee first thing in the morning.

Ive also got a single mug stainless French press that I have in my carry on luggage when travelling. This coupled with a jet boil wouldn't take up too much space, or add much extra weight.

Nescafe Azera Espresso in sachets.
Flask of boiling water = no cleaning and faster to prep.
Lotus Biscoff Carmalised biscuits for dunkers ---- two at a time.

Perked Lavezza Rossa is my regular at home, haven't drunk tea since I was 13.

I tried those plastic filters recently. Nice coffee but takes forever to drip through. Back to the Taylors bags, though the coffee comes out on the weak side. Plus no plastic to recycle.

Bought one of these a few years ago when they first came out - great little coffee makers.

I use it to fill a flask before heading out

Do you have to use their filters or can you get other brands?

I've always used their own but it's just a paper filter so sure others would work - a quick search on ebay doesn't bring up anything cheaper though. There are metal reusable filter discs which may be worth a shot?

I can show you a delightful place where a waiter will serve you afternoon tea on a silver tray on beside the river.
You wont be fishing for pike though, closed in winter to stop the banks getting muddy.
