Lucky, but unlucky

Post by JasonR »

I am not ungrateful, but i keep getting given bottles by the wife’s aunt. I have told her i don’t drink whiskey or rum, but she keeps giving them to me! £180 worth, but sitting there doing nothing, i cant even sell them on ebay / Facebook etc Am i the luckiest / unluckiest person in here?

There’s peat, and there's peat

The Octmore,Caol Ila, Laphroaig peated malts, now they’re an acquired taste.

Nothing particularly expensive on the go at the moment but I’m enjoying one of these by the fire with a good pike book after little mans gone to bed👍
I do like Glen Moray for a cheap bottle and
That macallan is a very nice drop for fifty quid👍

Kraken is great.....on its own or with a mixer that isn't too overpowering.
Daughter poured me a glass a couple of Christmas back and had added a bit of " very berry" Lucozade sport......it wouldn't of been something I would of ever contemplate on but it was fantastic. Energetic and p8shed....poor old Mrs C🤣🤣🤣
