Talking to my wee mum and we ended up in a wee trip down memory lane. Conversation got on to those boil in the bag curries we used to get when I was little.
We used to get them a lot. Very cheap and cheerful in late 80's. didnt even know what a microwave was then, it was a big thing when one the neighbor got one.
I remember loving them though. Had chicken or beef curry, kormas, chili con carne, etc
I've not had one in so long I probably misremember and they are absolute s***e. used to love potted meat, cant pay me to eat it now
Do they even do they boil in bag curries now, seems they could be handy for extended fishing trips

I remember those frozen curry in a bag things. We used to microwave them. Think they may have come from Tesco?

Did they come with rice in a perforated bag with a 'handle' slot for fishing it out of the pan?
