Is a cheap smoker worth a punt at £28? I know nothing about smokers, would it cook typical BBQ stuff like burgers, sausage, skewers etc?
How long would they take you reckon?
Only 3 of us in the house so wouldnt need to be able to cook a load of stuff.
On sale in Argos

I’ll be honest Chris, anything only costing £20 odd quid any gonna be a whole lot of good.

The key to smoking is keeping the temps constant. And I very much doubt you’ll be able to do that with something like that.

If you really want to dip your toes into smoking you can get a decent Webber Smokey Joe for less than a ton.
Or spend a little extra and get a Smokey mountain. Ideal starter set ups.
Not sure how much it was before it was in the "clearance" sale, the reviews seemed ok which is why I wondered. Fair comment though

Never thought cooking a roast for 3 hours was worth the wait but cooking for 6 hours?
Oh yes with a smoker, well worth it just for ribs :worthy:

Anyone else here got the ninja woodfire? I know it’s not a traditional smoker/barbie but I’ve had mine since May and love it. We’ve smoked pork for pulled pork , whole chickens etc. I did some smoked pulled beef for my mates 50th BBQ and it went in no time.it’s very versatile so been also doing homemade pizzas and other stuff in it .

Couldn’t pass getting the “T” fired up.
Mate dropped off a 14lb Chicken :afraid: on Sunday.
Yesterday I Spatchcocked it, covered it in butter, salt & black pepper.
Cooked on 225f for 2.5hrs with Hickory pellet, then turned heat up to 325f for 1.5hrs when temp hit 165f.
1/3rd eaten 1/3rd soaking in curry sauce for tomoz the other 1/3rd in the dog
