Going to the dark side
[I have a nearby trout fishery it's been there for years and I have decided to give it a go tomorrow. Just the bait lochan. Looking forward to six hours of contemplating my navel and watching a rod tip and hopefully getting my 23 quids worth with a bag limit which is 4 fash.
Bring it on.
Bring it on.

Only went trout fishing once,it was when the kids were little,we went to Thorpe Park(I think)We were given a rod(or bit of bamboo, can't remember that either) and some sweetcorn,as soon as the sweetcorn touched the water you had a trout,i unhooked them and put them back, got bollocked because you are not supposed to put them back

Got limit by 1.30 bought another ticket two hours for two. Caught them by 3 and home the road. It felt like being in a fish shop where you catch and kill and pay for your fish which it is. I'll be back but on the fly lochans catch and release. Enjoyed the day but fifty quid all in for the day. Eh?
Naw no again.

Trout heads make a very good bait.
Pike (and Bass) love em to bits.
