Re: Border terriers
Some cracking little dogs there. Makes me wonder why people want a monster fighting dog when these little beasts carry ten times the character......

Re: Border terriers
I have had 2 Staffordshire Bull terriers before the inbreeding and now have a border
And she is worse than the Bull terriers were..........
Love her to bits though
In her defence she was fine until cornered by two labs
Now she gets in first

Re: Border terriers
We had a border bitch and she lived to the ripe old age of 19 years !!
Lovely dog who used to eat her food at a ridiculous speed and had a vice like grip.
Not scared of any other dog whatever the size .. the only thing that phased her
were fireworks when she used to hide behind the sofa quivering.

Re: Border terriers
Awesome dogs!
I'd seen a couple on the banks with other anglers before we got ours and they always seemed like good fishing companions. I'd had Jack Russell's before and while I loved those dogs just as much our Border Milo is much better suited to fishing than any of the Jack Russell's were.
I love the bread now and would certainly recommend to any active person thinking of getting one.
This is from our walk up Conniston old man over the Easter weekend.
(Well known swim this one! )

Yeah, then the bloody cold weather came.

She's a cracker mate, even though she's a bacon roll thief.
Had to carry Tilly over a large puddle today while fishing, she sat down and wouldn't budge.
