So happy to see him like that. It's easy to forget Labs are real tough nuggets. Because they're so gentle that hides the fact they are actually rock. Keep on improving, Murphy

Re: Murphy my lab
Update,,, he hadnt been eating after we left and really dicnt want to do much but today he was brought out in harnesses and although both front and rear left leg still wonky hes actually moving them along with good legs, his tail was wagging like feck too when he saw us,,hes doing toilet without help too,,,, so theyve made a decision that after visit with physio tomorrow hes coming home cos they reckon hes more motivated when with us rather than them,,, so hard work begins tomorrow after lots n lots of cuddles

Great news John, they are right he probably will heal quicker at home.
Especially with all the fuss he is going to get.

Re: Murphy my lab
He had his 1st physio today, session was exercise legs, then laser therapy on muscles in legs and neck, followed by a look at him walking whilst supported with harnesses and finally a go on the treadmill in the hydrotherapy pool,at 1st he had a bit of a swim then gently coaxed his legs onto treadmill he soon got the hang of it,,oh followed by a shampoo shower, seen by vet also they are pleased with his progress. He is started just over last 2 days to put his rear leg down into correct position albeit no strength (yet),hes still scared of trying to use his front leg although whilst doing his exercise with this one it does feel a lot stronger than his rear one.He still get really frustrated at home and in constant need of attention though oh and foxes in our back garden doing his head in lol.but looking promising now,,oh and he slept for full 5 hours when he got home today too,,totally knackered
