Online Baits, initial impression
After reading some good reviews , I decided to give them a try.
Got a friend to go halves with me and £60 worth of bait was ordered.(free postage)
Ordered it on Wednesday evening and received today as requested.
Opening the box, everything was well packaged and frozen solid.
Baits look good quality, just have to test them now.

I used online last season for the first time in a while. I find a lot of the baits excellent, for example last years roach was perfect but the bulk sardines were rubbish.
This season I ordered the lamprey and turbo smelt, I've never had better lamprey or smelt ever. Superb! The roach this year are rubbish they are soft and float, The mini mackerel are too small they are like 4".

Your right about the roach , I ordered loads of the large and the xl one cast and that’s it even when there banded on,i did another order yesterday for turbo smelt, trout and pollen, I still couldn’t see any of them decent sized packs of 2 mackerel tho only the small ones.

I want some decent sized joey macks between 7-9".
I only realised with those roach when I cast one off from a boat and the thing floated, eventually to the bank. I have had them from there before and they've been perfect, theres always something that lets the order down though and other baits excel.

Tried them the other day. A good test of freshness in my opinion is if the Smelt have a strong whiff of cucumber. These did.
Had a fish on the Pollan, a missed screamer of a run on a smelt but nothing on a Bluey mini. Had most of my fish on other brands of bluey from this lake but the mini didn't work on this occasion.
