Hi can anyone recommend a Abu Baitcasting reel for use with lures in the 10 -30gm range and on occasion 5-10gm please .??

Buy 2nd hand. I’ve bought 3 used, £120 for a sx1601 Forell, £185 for a 1601 ultra-mag & £240 for a mint 3601zx which I recently sold on at the same price.

Kastking Spartacus £30 new and absolutely fine for anything that light. It's Chinese made but so are most other reels anyway, the only difference is they dont try to hide it.

Source yourself a secondhand from Japan where they mod them to the hilt and trade them in when the next latest arrives.

Best Ive used was a Currado, it would cast a moneyspider if you could tie it on the end.
