These horrible little feckers? The only thing in this world I hate more than wasps!

Made the mistake of wearing a yellow T shirt when I took the dog for a walk the other day. They wouldn't leave me alone! Swatted two off my arm that arrived simultaneously at one stage - I was walking around like a whirling dervish with tourettes!

The site I'm on is plagued by the little f*****s. I've been bitten a couple of times with no bad reactions, some of the lads have had bumps the size of golf balls pop up after a bite.

I tried "avon skin so soft" today, I know it works to repel mozzies and I wasn't bothered by the horse flies after applying it, except for one on my belly, through my tee shirt while eating my bait!

Small beetles, they're everywhere. I had to swap my yellow hi-viz for an orange one because I was covered in them!

Sound like black flies? There was a plague of them last time I fished the Ebro. They punch ridiculously above their weight compared to something the size of a midge. I came back with 52 bites and legs like an elephant's.

I thought I'd get some kind of immunity to bites after that lot, but it's been the opposite. Mozzle bites now come up twice as big! 😠

Little black beetles, harmless but annoying, they like the yellow hi-viz more than the orange

heres a tip for mozzie bites that hurt and itch like feck-----when you've stirred your tea hold the hot (as you can stand) teaspoon on the bump, the heat destroys the proteins that the mozzie has injected you with, stops the itching and they go away much quicker.

Double whammy when fishing yesterday! Got bitten on the shin by a Clegg and was covered in pollen beetles!

I've decided I don't mind pollen beetles. Give me a hundred of those to one Clegg any day!
