Miuras mouse
Any one know where I can get this lure or similar version in the UK ? . Watched the Italian guys using them on YouTube pike fishing Ireland ( Blackbay ) and they look excellent .
In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Re: Miuras mouse
Thats just a modified trolling lure.
Cork or plastic head, through rigged, deer hair body (deer hair floats) glass dolls eyes, and a mega grub tail.
Could be produced in less than 15mins with the right material to hand
Interesting the duck on the site is release rigged, no it couldn't be, didn't someone say it just a gimmick idea for foriegn journalists

Re: Miuras mouse
They've just been used heavily on fly v jerk 10 and the biggest fish of the competition at over 13kg fell to on.
I hear Strike Pro have not got involved with them so the price should hopefully come down, although I saw the regular sized ones for around 40euros which is still steep in my view,

I could easily make one of those myself, and I bet the materials wouldn't come to more than a fiver. It looks nicely made, but £150 for one? Not for me.

What did they call it Kosh- finding stuff on AliExpress is harder than listening to you talk about tagging kippers.

Hear the Ali Express ones aren't great - don't swim, go upside down and fall apart.
Would avoid but let us know your own findings if you buy one

I have almost finished one- it takes a lot of tying/ gluing. I wouldn't want to make any for 35 quid.....

Re: Miuras mouse
I bought one, as I wanted to compare the action to my own self made versions of it. The key feature if this lure is the flat surface area where the trace is clipped on. Unlike most other lures that are designed to cut the water with ease, the mouse is anything but streamed lined and displaces a lot of water as its retrieved. Its a nice lure, but very expensive. its almost double the price of any other "casting" lure I have.
