Team Vass 175 Winter Lined Bib & Brace

Post by Jason Skilton »

Got bought the Team Vass 175 Winter Lined Bib & Brace (in black) for Xmas by the missus.

Very impressed with them so far, thought at first that they wouldn't be thick enough, but they are super warm and really comfy to walk in, sit in and generally keep dry and mud free.

They have no zips so this help keep you snug as a bug, trouble is when you need to pee, you have to pull the lot down, but I can live with that. They are have reinforced knee's and a usuful slot that you can add knee pads.

Currently on sale in most shops for under 70 quid.

I bought some recently but can't live with hassle when having a pee, so will probably sell them... but they are warm and waterproof

I bought a set for use in the boat in cold wet weather, they've lived up to expectations being warm, 100% waterproof and easy to wash down. As said the downside is stripping down for a pee, but its still better than sat in the rain wet and cold.

I do know what you mean, and it is a slight hassle, but I can live with it for a few more years ;-)

Interesting review Jason
I’m thinking of the unlined version for boat use spring, summer and autumn.
I’ve heard the material is not only waterproof but pretty robust and tough.

Totally agree, I brought this up with the guy that Vass sponsers when he was pushing them on his fb page, to have to take your life jacket off when ever you have a pee is imo, a really bad design flaw when fishing from a boat! He said he would feed back to Vass but never had a reply!
