Out last night with my new Sony Body doubling up on mega pixels to my A9 and with the 100-400 GM lens....

They are stunning shots Dave. What sony body is it? The lens is pin sharp!

Whats the minimum focusing distance on that Dave? I'm assuming you were getting as close as possible.
I wonder if I can achieve similar with my Fuji 100-400, in lieu of a macro lens...

100mm mate...@ FF and yes you can easily do it with that lens, SOMETIMES you might find it harder to get focus quick enough and also use your smallest possible focus point. Mines too large for my liking lol, but does the job

Super shot of the cardinal beetle! That green bokeh is the perfect backdrop to the picture.
