Black pudding
Who's got a recommendation?
I was/am a big fan of Clonakilty but I visited a south coast Butcher who sold a triangle shaped version and it was the biz.
He claimed it was from somewhere near Liverpool but a quick search only revealed this outfit.

I'm tempted to go down that route.

They have to use powdered blood now according to something I watched a while back. Some stupid legislation.

Stornoway Black pudding is legendary.
But if you ever get the chance Ness Black pudding (North of Stornoway) is probably better.

Used to like black pudding til I read a story in the paper of an old butcher who would take a huge bowl of pigs' blood, take a sup out it, then season it with salt and pepper and keep tasting til he was happy with it.

Re: Black pudding
There's only 2 Black puddings that I rate.
Bury and Stornoway.
I've tried loads from all over and IMHO, these 2 rate the very best.
I'm not overly keen on the Liverpool pudding as it's too coarse, with overly sized lumps of fat.

I speak from experience as there was a short period in my Fire Service days when we used to have competitions on the watch to see how quickly we could eat a dry Pot Noodles without taking a drink.
My record was 1 and a bit without taking a drink. A mere lightweight.
Many a bad gut after those comps.
The dry shredded wheat eating comps weren't much better. Groan face!
