icelands boneless turkey joint .....you cant go wrong no waste and easy to slice .highly recommend it
think it comes in 2 different sizes .......

Turkey is on a very short list (rabbit is another) of meat that I wouldn't ever choose to eat. Dry, bland, and I've tried making curry out of leftovers, only to ruin a perfectly good curry sauce.

Rabbit is fine with me but Turkey isn't even fit for carrion to eat. I have no idea why people think it's OK?

I did that one year too. Bought and frozen, reheated on Xmas day. Lovely

I bloody hate turkey (and most of the b******s that is Xmas if I'm honest!)

Going Chinese, my local always does an eight course festive feast for its regulars, any new faces get the sorry were are fully booked

Boxing day will be a bit of pannage pork off the Forest or venison.

Beef last year but madam has decided we're going back to turkey crown this year.
I'd rather have a couple of geese but she doesn't like them.
Beef or pork joint for boxing day but she hasn't made her mind up which yet. So I might get both & stick then in the freezer.
And a large ham.

we have family down for lunch ......this year nine are coming , so i will be busy this year
me and the wife have our lunch on boxing day ,we prefer that..... as lots to do on the day .......

A big chunk of beef in the slow cooker, and some clove and ginger gammon. Not a fan of turkey.

I like confit or slow cooked Turkey legs, a nice piece of ham plus a lovely cut of beef cooked the low side of medium rare.

Boxing Day is sorted then as well

If you do Turkey crown it must be wet brined otherwise it’s just bland and often dry due to no bones and no fat on the breast.

I much prefer the dark meat of any poultry.

I love turkey cover the breast with streaky bacon and a couple of oz of butter under the skin never dry

Had chinese from the takeaway for years on christmas day, get it the night before then on the day just lob it in the microwave, job done.
