No mate. It's a plate pie. Pastry bottom and crust, mash,onions and corned dog.

Food of the gods if you were brought up in and around the old north east pit villages.

Don’t fancy that one bit mate tbh.
Bully beef and piccallili is just about my last request sarnie, but I don’t like eating it hot. Same with tinned tuna. I love a tuna sarnie on wholewheat bread, but served hot I would gag eating it. Love a nice fresh tuna steak cooked though.

It’s the pastry that gives you heartburn Andrew. Does much the same for me if I don’t take my acid blocking pill.

Love Corned beef Hash served with Baked beans, bloody handsome.

Very simple to make:
Mashed potato with loads of corned beef mixed/mashed into it, stick it in the oven for 45 mins.

When I was in the RAF their version of corned beef hash was a mixture of baked beans, tinned tomatoes, potatoes and lumps of corned beef.
