AirArms Galahad .22 Full Package

Post by Ben »

UK Laws on selling second hand air guns seem confusing to me.

Can anyone shed any light on it for me please?

I have a virtually unused AirArms Galahad .22 in black tactical finish that I’m looking to move on due to a local farm being sold and me losing shooting rights before I even got started, cost over 2k new.

Hawke scope, bottle/regulator, x3 ten shot magazine, top of the range Plano hard case and pellets.

Absolutely stunning gun but sadly I’m just not going to have the place to use it now.

Unless you need the money off it I would be keeping that for future opportunities mate...they do crop up every now an again.
Apart from my drum kit, that would be my dream toy.

Presuming your air rifle is not above 12ft lbs which would require both you & the purchaser to hold a suitably varied Firearm Certificate.

It's an offence to sell an airgun or its ammunition to any person under the age of 18.
A private sale does not have to be face to face but you need to satisfy yourself that the person you are selling it to is over 18.

Worth a read. Note that Scots law is different but is also linked to in the article: www.shootinguk.co.uk/answers/airgun-laws-26100/

I had the S400f which is basically the same working parts as your bullpup but a single shot.

Lovely guns, I'd be looking for another permission!
