Humbugs in a tin

Post by Runaway Train »

My lad usually gets me some retro sweets for Christmas.

However the one he has never found is the humbugs in a tin i used to get in the late 60's / early 70's.

I cant remember the name or brand but seem to recall it was a green tin with a top you used to lever open with a screw driver. Inside were golden coloured humbugs usually stuck together so you had to use the screwdriver to break them apart and tip them out.

Any old farts like me got a clue what they were called?
